Every calculation on WordCounterGo happens entirely in your browser. We do not transmit, store, or analyse your text. There is no server receiving your words. When you close the tab, your text is gone. We believe this is the only acceptable way to handle other people's words.
No Account Required
We deliberately chose not to add user accounts, subscription tiers, or paywalls. WordCounterGo is and will remain completely free. The only thing you need to do is open the page and start typing.

The site is built with Astro, a modern web framework that ships zero JavaScript to the browser except the small script needed for the counting tool itself. This means near-instant page loads and a Lighthouse performance score that stays high.
